What time is the swimming pool open?

The Swimming Pool is open throughout the year, however seasonal variances do apply. Please visit the Swimming page for up to date opening times.

Are non-residents allowed to use the swimming pools?

Both pools are open to everyone for most of the year, however, we do have to limit the number of customers using our pools during peak dates. Therefore, during Whitsun and the main school summer holidays the pools are only open to guests staying at Pentewan Sands Holiday Park. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

How deep are the swimming pools?

We have two indoor swimming pools at The Seahorse. Both pools have a safe maximum depth of 1.2 metres and a shallow beach area that's perfect for toddlers. The swim pool is 18 metres in length. 

Are non-residents allowed in?

Yes they are. Non-residents are welcome to use the facilities in The Seahorse, including the restaurant and arcade at all times of the year.

Non-residents are welcome to use the swimming pools at all times except peak Whitsun and peak school summer holiday dates when space is limited to holiday park customers only. 

Where do I park and is there a charge?

Please follow the signs to The Seahorse car park where you will be able to park. Parking charges do apply so please bring change with you, 

We also offer a car parking telephone payment option.

There is also an overspill car park near the main entrance to Pentewan Sands. 

Main car park:

  • 15 mins = £0.10
  • 1hr = £1.50
  • 2 hrs = £3.00
  • 3 hrs = £4.50

What time is The Seahorse Restaurant open?

The Seahorse Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner subject to season variances. Please visit the Eating page for more information and sample menus. 

Can we come along to watch the entertainment?

On-site entertainment runs during peak dates. Please visit our What's On page for more information. 

Does the restaurant have a dress code?

The Seahorse restaurant does not have a strict dress code, however we do ask that appropriate clothing is required. No over exposed clothing and articles with offensive content. 

Can anyone use the tennis courts and is there a fee?

Yes, anyone can use our courts which are located behind D field - please visit reception to book your time.

  • £6.00 per hour (adults court)
  • £4.00 per hour (children's court)
  • PLUS £5.00 key deposit (cash)
  • Rackets and ball hire is included in the price, but a £10.00 deposit is required for use of these.
